Letter to Our Members

Published on 04/06/20

Dear FCRW Members,

The Flathead County Republican Women Executive Board members want you to know that we put the health and safety of our members above all else. We understand that our general Membership Meetings are considered social gatherings and typically meetings are over the currant suggested distancing threshold of 10 or less, and we find it necessary to comply with the recommended guidance of the CDC, the WHO and our own state and local governmental authorities.

We want to act in the best interest of everyone’s well-being and do our part to help reduce the spread of this virus in any way possible. The FCRW Executive Board held a special online meeting today to determine what steps we need to take for future meetings. We will have our regular scheduled executive board meeting (online) on April 6, 2020 and at that time will re-evaluate the COVID-19 situation and decide whether or not to hold the April 20 general meeting. We have been in communication with the Red Lion and they are being very understanding and will remain flexible and will not charge us if we need to cancel the meeting.

Please continue to stay connected with updated information by looking on our website http://fcrwomen.org, checking your emails, and join the 464 people following us on Facebook if you have an account. Go to: https://www.facebook.com/FCRWomen

If you were unable to come to our last meeting you will find a post on the home page of our website dated 3/16/20 with a link to the Facebook Video (see above Facebook link).

Stay Informed:

Today, I received a beautiful online card from Carol Buchanan. She is a good example to all of us of how we can stay connected and encourage each other during this time.

We are now up to 64 full members and 10 associate members.

If you find yourself in need of help to get groceries, prescriptions, etc., please reach out to us and we will get the help you need.

We are in this together!
Heidi Roedel
