The Flathead County Republican Women hosted their second annual Celebrate America! on Saturday, September 11, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Flathead County Fairgrounds Trade Center.
Celebrate America! was a great success.
Over 300 people gathered to remember what happened nine years ago, and what we have to do to get our country back on track.
After the Invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance led by Genevieve Debrecht, we had the pleasure of having Tonja King sing the National Anthem and God bless America.
Three dynamic speakers: Retired Major General Paul Vallely, his wife, Muffin, and New York Firefighter, Steve Naso, made us all pause and remember “What we felt that day” and say “We will never forget”
Congressman Denny Rehberg was also in attendance. He gave a very positive speech about the mid-term elections, and explained why it is so important that the Republican Candidates win in November.
Special thanks to our friends at the Vista Linda. As usual, they served us a great meal.
